Hi I am in Jamaica,why? here's what's happening. I just attended Caribbean Growth Forum, another regional integration strategy. Two days of analysis, discussions and needs assessments. For sure the entire Caribbean region recognizes the crucial importance of entrepreneurship as we look to increase productivity, scale up youth employment and create wealth for ALL.
What will be our political will, passion? because from experience, we are quite skeptical about politics...World Bank's support again.
So minnovation is set to start within the next six months, one part in the series of the EPIC programme. Innovators, entrepreneurs and practitioners met at the Jamaica Pegasus, June 20th to review the proposed project which will create further regionalism, a tech culture and accelerate entrepreneurship and innovation. Technology is certainly awesome but we are quite aware it can be aweful as well. All kinds of things to think about, not least of which is the legal framework.
